Jordan Morgan

The Professional Face of PAT Testing Wales

Jordan Morgan

PAT Testing Director

Jordan is more than just a fantastic PAT tester; he’s become the face of PAT Testing Wales, and it’s easy to see why. Known for his professional, educated, and efficient approach to the job, Jordan has earned the trust and loyalty of our clients. His attention to detail, extensive knowledge, and unwavering commitment to safety ensure that every job is done to the highest standard. It’s no wonder our clients not only sing his praises but genuinely look forward to his return year after year.

Jordan first joined PAT Testing Wales with a simple goal: to work alongside his friends and be part of something great. What started as a way to team up with familiar faces quickly turned into a passion and career, he truly excels in. His previous roles as a warehouse worker, forklift driver, and factory operative have shaped him into the safety-conscious professional he is today. These roles gave him valuable experience in workplace safety, efficiency, and attention to detail – skills he now applies every day to PAT testing.

Beyond his technical expertise, Jordan is known for his personable nature and calm demeanour. Whether he’s double-checking appliances or cracking a joke to lighten the mood, he brings a balance of professionalism and approachability to every job. Clients often comment on how easy he is to work with, which has made him a favourite on the PAT Testing Wales team.

When he’s not ensuring the safety of appliances across the region, Jordan is a devoted family man. He treasures spending time with his wife, Emily, and their young son, Noah. Whether it’s family adventures, quiet evenings at home, or chasing after a toddler with boundless energy, Jordan values every moment he gets with his loved ones.

A perfectionist at heart, Jordan believes in doing every job right the first time, no matter how big or small. He’s not just here to tick boxes – he’s here to make a difference, one appliance at a time. His combination of technical skill, experience, and genuine care for the job has made him an indispensable part of PAT Testing Wales.

With Jordan, you’re not just getting a PAT tester – you’re getting a professional who treats every appliance, client, and colleague with the utmost respect. He’s proof that safety and excellence go hand in hand, and we’re proud to have him on the team.

Get to know Jordan

  • What’s your favorite part of your job?
I absolutely love the family vibe here – it’s like working with a team of relatives, except no awkward Christmas dinners or debates over who left the fridge empty.

  • What’s the most unusual item you’ve ever PAT tested?
A whale. Yes, you read that right. Not an electric one (we’re not that advanced), but you’d be amazed what counts as a “portable appliance” in the wild imagination of health and safety.

  • If you weren’t working in PAT testing, what would your dream job be?
Honestly, I’m living the dream now – but if I had to switch careers, I’d be a Freddie Mercury impersonator. I’ve got the moves, the voice, and the moustache (kind of). “We Will Rock You” would be my personal anthem.

  • What’s one thing you think every client should know about PAT testing?
We’re not just passionate about our work – we’re borderline obsessed. If there’s a better way to PAT test something, trust me, we’ll find it. We’re the Sherlock Holmes of plug safety.

  • What do you usually do during your downtime on site?
I use that precious time to get hyper-organised for the next job. But don’t worry – I’ve also mastered the art of looking deeply reflective while sipping coffee.

  • If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Cameron’s uncanny ability to find an earth anywhere. Seriously, this guy could locate a grounding wire in Narnia.

  • What’s the funniest thing that’s ever happened while you were working?
No comment. Let’s just say some stories are better shared over a pint – and some, never shared at all.

  • What’s your go-to snack when you’re on the road?
Coffee and a meal deal. It’s the holy trinity of sustenance: caffeine, convenience, and the thrill of debating which crisps to grab.

  • How do you prepare for a long day of PAT testing?
Preparation is key – and coffee is non-negotiable. If you’re not 80% caffeine by 9 a.m., are you even in the PAT testing business?

  • What’s your hidden talent that not many people know about?
I’m a Guinness connoisseur. Not just a fan – I’m talking full-on, swirl-the-glass, critique-the-head, “this pint has too much nitrogen” expertise.

  • If you could swap jobs with one of your colleagues for a day, who would it be and why?
Definitely the dragon. I’ve heard about him, but he’s been more elusive than Bigfoot since I joined. I’d love to know what he actually does – assuming he exists.

  • What’s your favorite thing to do after a long day at work?
Relax with the family – or at least try to, before one of the kids decides to turn the living room into a reenactment of Top Gun.

  • If you could give one piece of advice to a new employee at PAT Testing Wales, what would it be?
Be prepared, be organised, and don’t rush. Quality beats quantity every time. Oh, and never admit if you can’t find the kettle – it’s a rite of passage to suffer in silence.

  • What’s your favorite TV show or movie to binge-watch?
Top Gun. Classic jets, killer soundtracks, and just enough drama to make you feel like you’re Maverick – even if you’re really Goose.

  • If you had to describe yourself using only three words, what would they be?
Brilliant, fun, handsome (though this last one is subject to how many drinks you’ve had – and no refunds on opinions).
