Terms and Conditions for Appliance Repair

By using PAT Testing Wales for Appliance Repair Services, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Scope of Service:

PAT Testing Wales provides professional appliance repair services conducted by qualified technicians according to current industry standards.

2. Scheduling and Access:

Customers must ensure that the appliance is accessible and available at the agreed appointment time.

A fee equivalent to 20% of the estimated job price will be charged if our technician arrives but cannot access the premises or appliance due to the customer’s absence or inadequate access.

3. Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations or rescheduling must be communicated at least 48 hours before the scheduled appointment date. Cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a charge equal to 20% of the estimated job price.

4. Pricing and Payment:

All quoted prices exclude VAT unless otherwise stated.

Payment terms will be clearly detailed in the provided invoice, and late payments may incur additional fees.

5. Warranty on Repairs:

Repairs carried out by PAT Testing Wales are guaranteed for a period of three months from the date of service unless otherwise specified.

Warranty does not cover faults arising from subsequent misuse or further damage after service completion.

6. Liability:

PAT Testing Wales will not be liable for any damage caused by improper use or handling of the appliance after servicing.

Our liability is strictly limited to the specific appliance repair carried out.

7. Subcontracting:

PAT Testing Wales reserves the right to subcontract appliance repair tasks where necessary, ensuring all subcontractors adhere to our quality and safety standards.
