Terms and Conditions for Fire Risk Assessments
By engaging PAT Testing Wales for your Fire Risk Assessment needs, you agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions:
1. Service Delivery:
PAT Testing Wales will provide professional Fire Risk Assessments conducted by qualified and competent assessors in accordance with current fire safety regulations and industry best practices.
2. Access and Scheduling:
Customers must ensure safe and suitable access to all necessary areas within the property at the scheduled appointment time.
A charge equivalent to 20% of the estimated job price will apply if our assessor arrives and is unable to carry out the assessment due to the customer’s absence, restricted access, or other issues caused by the customer.
3. Cancellations and Rescheduling:
Any cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made at least 48 hours prior to the agreed assessment date.
Cancellations made less than 48 hours from the agreed date will incur a fee of 20% of the estimated job price.
4. Pricing and Payments:
All quoted prices are exclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
Payment terms will be clearly detailed on your invoice, and late payments may incur additional charges.
5. Reporting and Documentation:
Upon completion of the assessment, PAT Testing Wales will provide a comprehensive Fire Risk Assessment report detailing findings, recommendations, and actions required.
Reports will be issued electronically within an agreed timeframe following the completion of the assessment.
6. Liability:
PAT Testing Wales accepts no liability for fire risks, hazards, or incidents resulting from conditions identified or emerging after our assessment, except where directly caused by our negligence during the assessment.
7. Subcontracting:
PAT Testing Wales reserves the right to subcontract Fire Risk Assessments if necessary, ensuring all subcontractors comply fully with our standards and procedures.
