Terms and Conditions – PAT Testing Service

By choosing PAT Testing Wales for your Portable Appliance Testing (PAT), you agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Service Provision:

PAT Testing Wales will provide qualified and certified technicians to perform Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) according to current health and safety regulations and industry standards.

2. Pricing and Quotations:

All quoted prices are estimates based on information provided at the time of enquiry. Final charges may vary slightly depending on actual quantities and conditions encountered on-site.

3. Cancellation Policy:

Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will incur a fee equivalent to 20% of the estimated job price.

If our technician arrives at the premises at the agreed appointment time and is unable to access or perform the service due to the absence of the client or restricted access, a charge equivalent to 20% of the estimated job price will apply.

4. Client Responsibilities:

The client is responsible for ensuring safe, clear, and unobstructed access to all equipment requiring testing.

Clients must ensure all equipment is accessible, unplugged, and ready for testing upon our arrival.

5. Pricing and Payment:

Our quoted prices will clearly outline the costs per appliance or job and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated.

Payment terms will be specified on your invoice. Late payments may incur additional charges or interest.

6. Reporting and Certification:

PAT Testing reports and certification will be provided electronically within five working days following service completion.

Hard copies of reports or certificates may incur an additional charge if requested.

7. Client Responsibilities:

Clients are responsible for ensuring all appliances are accessible, safely disconnected, and ready for testing.

Any known issues or hazards related to appliances should be disclosed to our technician prior to testing.

8. Liability:

PAT Testing Wales will not be responsible for any faults, damage, or injury caused by the condition of the appliances tested unless directly resulting from our negligence during the testing process.
