Cameron Davies
Marketing Director
Cameron is not just an integral part of the PAT Testing Wales team – he’s the glue that holds everyone together with his incredible skills, unwavering support, and infectious sense of humour. A master of multitasking, Cameron seamlessly juggles roles as a fantastic PAT tester, social media whiz, and creative designer. Whether he’s ensuring appliances are safe, crafting engaging posts for the company, or lending his artistic flair to design work, Cameron’s versatility knows no bounds.
His career journey is as colourful as his personality. Cameron has excelled in a variety of roles, from manning the phones at a popular car insurance company to serving as a top-tier barman (his cocktails were legendary). He’s also braved the scaffolding world, tackled the grit of groundwork, and mastered the art of fitting tyres. Each of these roles required a unique skill set, and Cameron exceeded expectations every single time. That diverse experience shines through in his work at PAT Testing Wales, where his adaptability and expertise make him a true asset to the team.
But it’s not all work and no play with Cameron. Known as the funny man of the company, he’s the one who keeps spirits high and laughter rolling, even during the busiest days. As the unofficial morale booster, he makes sure the team stays motivated and smiling – whether through quick wit, a hilarious story, or simply his genuine, uplifting presence.
Outside of work, Cameron cherishes time with his small but loving family. He’s been with his partner Shannon since their primary school days – a love story that could rival any rom-com. Together with their young son, Tiaan, they make the most of their weekends by heading off on adventures in their Volkswagen camper van. Whether camping under the stars or exploring the great outdoors, family time is Cameron’s favourite way to unwind and recharge.
With his exceptional customer service, impressive skill set, and knack for making everyone’s day brighter, Cameron is not just a team member – he’s the heart and soul of PAT Testing Wales. If you’re lucky enough to meet him on the job, you’re guaranteed to have a safer appliance, a good laugh, and a story to tell.

What’s your favorite part of your job?
I absolutely love working with this team – it’s like being part of an all-star squad where everyone’s got each other’s backs. And meeting new people every day? It’s like a never-ending episode of Come Dine With Me – but with less food and more plug sockets. What’s the most unusual item you’ve ever PAT tested?
A pair of straighteners covered in the owner’s cat photos. I mean, it was both adorable and mildly concerning – like the cat was silently judging me while I worked. If you weren’t working in PAT testing, what would your dream job be?
Either diving into property (because who doesn’t love a good renovation montage?) or becoming a tattoo artist – assuming I could actually draw something better than a stickman with a questionable haircut. What’s one thing you think every client should know about PAT testing?
If you’re thinking about choosing us, don’t hesitate – we’re like the Avengers of PAT testing. Professional, easy-going, and ready to go the extra mile. We might not save the world, but your appliances? Consider them rescued. What do you usually do during your downtime on site?
I love tinkering with my van, getting it ready for camping adventures. It’s part DIY, part “how did I end up with these spare screws?”If you could have any superpower, what would it be and why?
Super strength or invincibility – because let’s face it, lifting a washing machine with one hand while sipping coffee with the other would be a real flex. What’s the funniest thing that’s ever happened while you were working?
Not during work, but on the way to a job with Jordan. He’s such an awful driver, I swear I saw my life flash before my eyes – twice. What’s your go-to snack when you’re on the road?
Tesco meal deal, hands down. It’s the closest thing we have to fine dining on the road – and choosing the right sandwich feels like a high-stakes game show. How do you prepare for a long day of PAT testing?
Coffee. And then more coffee. It’s less of a routine and more of a survival strategy. What’s your hidden talent that not many people know about?
Apparently, I have the nose of a bloodhound. I’ve been told I can “smell a Sunday roast on a Wednesday,” which is both a compliment and a burden when you’re hungry midweek. If you could swap jobs with one of your colleagues for a day, who would it be and why?
Definitely Jordan, just to see the world from his perspective. Literally – the man’s tall enough to spot earth wires from the next postcode. What’s your favorite thing to do after a long day at work?
Spend time with my family. Whether it’s a relaxing walk or taking my boy to the park, it’s the perfect way to recharge – and maybe sneak in a bit of Top Gun roleplay at the swings. If you could give one piece of advice to a new employee at PAT Testing Wales, what would it be?
Be confident! And remember, if you’re ever stuck, just call any of us – we’re like the PAT testing hotline, but with fewer hold times and more jokes. What’s your favorite TV show or movie to binge-watch?
Vikings, Friends, or Dexter. Because nothing says relaxation like brutal battles, sarcastic one-liners, or a morally conflicted serial killer. If you had to describe yourself using only three words, what would they be?
Positive, helpful, confident – or as my mates might say, “he’s alright, I guess.”
